  71. Zippidy Do Da requires Windows 3.1.  If it is installed on a Windows 3.0
  72. system, it will not run.  On versions of Windows prior to 3.11 it also
  73. requires SHARE.EXE to be loaded BEFORE starting Windows. Note, if you
  74. are running Windows 3.11, Windows for Workgroups, or Windows 95 you do
  75. not need to load SHARE.EXE.

  77. NOTE: UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING ONE OF THE OPERATING SYSTEMS LISTED ABOVE
  78. YOU MUST LOAD SHARE.EXE BEFORE RUNNING WINDOWS.

  80. Zippidy Do Da is a utility program that allows you to look up cities by
  81. zip code, area code, state, or city name.  We feel we have included much
  82. useful information in this release.  However, as we continue to upgrade
  83. the program, we would be glad to hear suggestions from you about new

  87. The first time you run Zippidy Do Da, it will need to build its indexes.
  88. On an 80486 33MHz PC it will take less than 5 minutes.  You will need at
  89. least 4.5Mb available to build the indexes. If for some reason (power
  90. failure, etc.) the index build fails before it is completed you can try
  91. it again after you close other applications that may be running or free
  92. up some disk space.

  153. If you received Zippidy Do Da as a ZIP file, you should find a .ZIP file
  154. called ZD142.ZIP (or ZIPDD.ZIP if you obtained the program from
  155. CompuServe).  It will contain the files listed in the Packing List
  156. section.
  157.  
  158. You should unzip the file to a directory of your hard disk and then run
  159. the install program.  For example, if you unzip to a directory called
  160. C:\INST then you would execute INSTALL.EXE from the C:\INST directory.
  161. If you use File Manager then double click the file INSTALL.EXE in the
  162. C:\INST directory. If you use Program Manager then select FILE/RUN...
  163. and enter C:\INST\INSTALL.EXE and click OK. Then just follow the screen
  164. prompts.

  166. If you received Zippidy Do Da as ZIP files, you should find the files
  167. listed in PACKING LIST section included.  If any of the files are missing
  168. you do not have a complete package and it will not install or run.

  170. Files that end in a '_' are packed.  To copy them individually to your
  171. hard disk, you will need to use the INSTALL.EXE program to install them.
